Ludo Face ("we", "our", or "the app") is an online Ludo game with optional real-time face video and voice chat. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Information We Collect

• Account information: when a user signs in with Google, we may receive their name, email address, profile photo, and Firebase user ID.
• Guest and player information: guest ID, display nickname, player color, room ID, presence, invitations, and gameplay state.
• Camera and microphone: camera and microphone are used only after the user chooses to enable face video. Users can continue playing without camera access.
• Real-time communication data: WebRTC connection/signaling metadata may be processed through Firebase Realtime Database to connect players in the same room.
• Safety information: reports, report reasons, blocked player IDs, moderation notes, and related timestamps may be stored to protect users and enforce rules.
• Technical information: app interactions, device/network status, diagnostics, logs, Firebase/Google service identifiers, and similar information may be processed by the app or service providers.

How We Use Information

• To create, join, and manage Ludo rooms.
• To provide optional live video and voice chat.
• To authenticate users who choose Google Sign-In.
• To maintain fair gameplay, presence, invitations, and session recovery.
• To process reports, block abusive users, investigate abuse, and improve safety.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, cheating, spam, or security incidents.

Camera and Microphone

Camera and microphone access is optional. The app asks for permission only when a user chooses to enable face video. Camera and microphone streams are used for live communication during gameplay and are not intentionally recorded or stored by Ludo Face. Other players in the same room may see or hear the user while face video is enabled.

Sharing

We use service providers such as Firebase and Google authentication services to operate the app. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our policies, to protect users, or to investigate safety/security issues.

User-Generated Content and Safety

Player names, profile photos, live camera/audio, reports, and gameplay behavior may be visible or accessible to other players or moderators. Users can report or block other online players inside the app. Reports may be reviewed by moderators, and we may remove users from matches, restrict access, or take other action when rules are violated.

Data Retention

Room and gameplay data may be retained for operational, anti-abuse, and troubleshooting purposes. Safety reports may be retained longer where needed to investigate abuse, enforce rules, protect users, or comply with legal obligations.

Account and Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of their app account and associated app data through the in-app profile/settings area or by visiting Account and Data Deletion. We will delete or anonymize account data unless retention is required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.

Children

Ludo Face is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not designed for children. Because online matches may include live video, voice, and interaction with other users, people under 18 must not use the app.

Security

We use HTTPS/TLS and Firebase security rules to help protect data in transit and restrict access. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, so users should avoid sharing sensitive personal information in player names, video, or voice chat.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, notifying users in the app or listing.
